What are Propel Groups?

PsNick_Cutout_5

Here at Propel we want to help everyone do four things: Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference. Groups are where we help others find freedom!

So often we get through a rough season or a negative situation, but we seem to still carry that with us, even though it's over! Through Propel Groups we lead people out of captivity and into the freedom Jesus has for them. It can also be hard to make friends and find real biblical community on a Sunday morning, so Propel Groups helps people find their tribe and build godly, biblical friendships!

Propel Groups allow the church to grow larger and smaller at the same time.

Why should I lead a group?

As important as it is for you and I to find freedom, it's also important that we help others find freedom too! By leading a group, you create an environment for people to find not only freedom, but also biblical community and the opportunity to help them as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.

What is required of me as a group leader?

Our groups are in 12 and 6 week semesters. By saying yes to leading a group, you commit to 12 or 6 weeks (depending on the semester) of groups as well as upholding our honor code and group leader guidelines. We also ask that each of our groups include what we call ESPN: Encouragement, Scripture, Prayer, and Next Steps.
