In Week 2 of Tis the Season, Pastor Nick Newman (with guest Gerald Lorenzo) taught that generosity begins not with wealth but with awareness—recognizing that we are already “rich in this present world” and entrusted by God to use what we have to do good. Drawing from 1 Timothy 6:17–19, he challenged the church to shift from guarding and gathering to giving, showing how partnering with Compassion International empowers children spiritually, physically, and educationally through local churches.
